I'm Jean Choy, and before I became the businesswoman behind Ageless Beauty, I was a plain housewife living through unimaginable hardships. My story begins at 18 when I found myself pregnant. By 19, I had given birth to my first child, but my joy was overshadowed by the pain and rejection I faced from my partner and his family. My partner wasn’t ready for the responsibility, and his family didn’t accept me. We even attempted to end the pregnancy several times, but fate had other plans.

Life with my partner was a nightmare. I was a battered wife, physically and emotionally abused, often locked in a room, and left to fend for myself. My mother-in-law controlled everything, and I was rarely given proper food, even while pregnant. To survive, I would time my visits to my aunts' houses during meal times, just so I could eat. It was a life of constant fear, pain, and hunger.

But I refused to let that be the end of my story. I knew I had to fight, not just for myself, but for my children. Slowly, I found the strength to rebuild my life. I left my abusive partner for good in June 1999 and took my two children with me. I didn’t know how I would survive, but I put everything in God’s hands, trusting that He would guide me.

My life wasn’t easy. I started from scratch, working hard to provide for my children. There were days when I had nothing, but I never gave up. I started small businesses, from a sari-sari store to a laundry shop, and even dabbled in bazaars and selling beauty products. It wasn’t long before I realized that I had a passion for skincare, and I began dreaming of creating my own brand.

In 2010, while pregnant with my third child, I started selling beauty products online. Despite the challenges, I pushed forward, opening three branches of a boutique. But the competition was tough, and I eventually closed them. I then turned to networking, where I learned valuable lessons that I applied to my own business.

In 2017, I finally decided to pursue my dream of creating my own brand. I had always been told that I didn’t seem to age, and people admired my youthful appearance. That’s how Ageless Beauty was born—a brand that reflects not only the product’s benefits but also my journey of resilience and empowerment.
